Settlement approvals will be held by phone this week only.

Due to inclement weather, the City of Memphis has experienced several water main breaks. The breaks have left the Memphis office of the Bureau of Workers’ Compensation uninhabitable until the low water pressure can be fixed. Staff will be working remotely.

Therefore, for this week ONLY, if you wish to hold your approval by telephone, Judge Shaterra Marion is available on December 27, 28, and 29. Please contact staff attorney Taylor Skees at taylor.skees@tn.gov or 901-543-7730 to schedule the approval. Once you contact Taylor, be prepared to email your documents to him.

For filing fees, you may email the credit card authorization, mail the check, or bring it to the office in-person next week. Documents will not be processed until the check is received.

You may also wait until January 3^rd, 4^th, or 5^th to have your approval held in-person.
