The Court of Workers’ Compensation Claims is continually looking for ways to better serve our clientele.

To that end, parties and counsel in the mid-state may seek approval of their settlements in the Maury County Courthouse, rather than the Murfreesboro office, on Wednesday, November 29, starting at 9:00 a.m. If you wish to do so, please contact Patsy Bumbalough via email or 615-848-6743. A number of lawyers have already set appointments for that day, but plenty of openings remain.

The goal is to make your workers’ compensation case(s) more convenient. We believe that this will be welcomed by lawyers who already have dates before other judges in that location on that morning or by lawyers and parties whose offices/homes are close to the Maury County Courthouse. If we receive positive feedback, we will explore conducting settlement approvals there on a regular basis and in other county courthouses.
