Plan to attend the Bureau’s Education Conference

The annual education conference starts a week from today. This is a short reminder for the attorney track.

We have more breakout sessions than usual this year, and you don’t want to miss any of them. Below is a recap of the attorney track and the continuing legal education pre-approved hours that go with them.

Wednesday, June 10

  • 3:00 p.m., Commissioner and Legislative Update, .5 general credit.
  • 3:30, Case Law Update, 1.25 general credits (a perennial favorite).

Thursday, June 11

  • 8:00 a.m., Legal Ethics, Artificial Intelligence, and the Unauthorized Practice of Law, 1.0 dual credits (Timely, and don’t be late for the ethics credit!).
  • 9:15, Trial Court Judges’ Perspectives, 1.0 general credit.
  • 10:45, Appellate Practice Advice, 1.25 general credits.
  • 1:15 p.m., 60 Subjects in 60 Minutes, 1.0 general credit.
  • 2:45, You think your Briefs are Readable?, 1.0 general credit.
  • 4:00, The First 15 Days, 1.0 general credit.

Friday, June 12

  • 8:00 a.m., Strategies with Self-Represented Employees, 1.0 general credit.
  • 9:15, Self-care for Attorneys, 1.25 dual credits.
  • 11:15, Bureau Compliance Program, 1.0 general credit.
