“Knowledge speaks, but wisdom listens.”

This will be our mantra when conducting a series of listening sessions across the state over the coming month. The Court of Workers’ Compensation Claims and Mediation and Ombudsman Services of Tennessee want to hear from you. We are traveling to locations nearby or at all eight offices of the Bureau of Workers’ Compensation before the year’s end with one goal in mind: to use our ears as much as possible and our mouths as little as possible. We’re committed to excellence and believe it’s critical to obtain input from you, the various stakeholders, regarding how we might constantly improve the workers’ compensation system in our state. Below is the schedule.

Murfreesboro: November 15, 10:00 a.m., Historic Courthouse on the Square, Second Floor Courtroom
Jackson: November 29, 1:30 p.m., Lowell Thomas State Office Building, Conference Room 6, First Floor
Memphis: November 30, 1:30 p.m., One Commerce Square, 40 South Main Street, Suite 500, Main Courtroom
Nashville: December 1, 1:30 p.m., 220 French Landing Drive, TOSHA Hearing Room
Chattanooga: December 7, 9:00 a.m., 1301 Riverfront Parkway, Suite 202, Large Conference Room
Cookeville: December 9, 9:00 a.m., 444-A Neal Street, Main Courtroom
Kingsport: December 13, 10:00 a.m., Historic Courthouse, Commission Room Second Floor, 3411 Highway 126, Blountville
Knoxville: December 14, 10:00 a.m., 520 Summit Hill, Room 106, Main Courtroom, First Floor

If you need more information about the listening session near you, or are unable to attend but wish to submit comments in writing, call 615-770-1709 or send an email here.

We look forward to listening, learning and implementing more positive change.
