The College of Workers’ Compensation Lawyers has inducted Presiding Judge Timothy Conner of the Tennessee Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board and Judge Pamela B. Johnson of the Tennessee Court of Workers’ Compensation Claims as fellows. Their induction took place on April 18 in Tucson, AZ.
Election as a fellow, according the to College, “is the highest recognition by one’s colleagues of sustained outstanding performance in the profession, exemplifying integrity, dedication, and excellence.” The College is based in Annapolis, Md., was created in 2007, and annually recognizes “those who, by long and outstanding service, have distinguished themselves as leaders in the field” from across the United States and parts of Canada.
Judges Conner and Johnson were appointed in 2014 among the first judges to their respective, newly-created courts. They are both active in the National Association of Workers’ Compensation Judiciary, and within their community, Knoxville. They join Chief Judge Kenneth Switzer and Judge Brian Addington as CWCL fellows from the Tennessee courts.
