The State of Tennessee’s offices are closed today in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday.
Due to the current inclement weather, things look a little iffy for conducting business in-person tomorrow, depending on where you live in the state. So please check back to this blog early Tuesday morning if you have a settlement approval or in-person hearing. Your local office may or may not be open. Many state employees have the capability to work remotely, so the weather won’t affect that. If you have a telephone hearing, it will proceed.
Be mindful of the significance of this day, and be safe outdoors.

Last night in Nashville. You could’ve heard a pin drop.
